Beavers Add Defensive Presence
MINOT, N.D. -- The Minot State Beavers needed to add depth on the blueline this off season. They got it in the commitment of defenseman Grayson Neufeld. Neufeld, the Yorkton, SK product, comes to the Beavers after a three year stint in the KIJHL. He spent time with the Grand Forks Border Bruins, before finishing his junior hockey career in Fernie this past season. Neufeld's numbers have steadily increased all three seasons, including a season high 19 points this past season.
"We are excited to add Grayson to our back end this upcoming season." Said Head Coach Wade Regier. "He is a player who has always prided himself on playing well in the defensive end. If you look at his numbers the last three seasons, they have continued to climb. We feel his best is still in front of him and will push him to improve each season."
Neufeld, becomes the 2nd defenseman and 6th total recruit to commit to the Beavers this off season. You can see the entire list here.
